HcDat developed a comprehensive dashboard that integrates communication services from MaxMD and health information exchange (HIE) services from Corepoint. This solution empowers healthcare providers with a seamless interface that prioritizes user experience and security. The dashboard facilitates efficient access to patient information and secure communications, streamlining operations for healthcare staff.
Healthcare providers face significant challenges in navigating the multitude of IT services necessary for daily operations. These services must be secure, compliant with various standards, and user-friendly. Often, providers struggle to keep their staff trained and efficient while managing different tools from various IT providers, each with constantly evolving applications. Internal IT support is frequently overwhelmed by the time and effort required to set up and maintain these services. Moreover, off-the-shelf solutions may partially address their needs, but a comprehensive, unified system is typically lacking. The challenge was to create a tailored solution that integrates multiple services into a single, user-friendly platform, ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability.
Healthcare providers, ranging from small clinics to large organizations, whose operations depend on secure, efficient access to patient information and reliable communication tools. These providers require a platform that simplifies daily tasks, maintains audit logs, and supports granular access levels to sensitive information.
HcDat built a custom dashboard application using composable blocks to create a tailored application without compromising user interface or user experience. The solution includes: - Healthcare Information Exchange: Utilizes Corepoint for easy patient information searches. - Communication: Incorporates MaxMD secure SMTP/IMAP services for messaging and an address book for important contacts. - Audit Logs: Employs MS Azure SQL servers to track operations and identify misuse or abuse. - Visualization Suite: Provides an optimized UI/UX for navigating CCDs and FHIR bundles, integrated with HIE and communication flows.
The implementation of the unified dashboard allowed healthcare provider organizations to build custom systems tailored to their specific needs. The integration of various services into one platform enabled staff to interact seamlessly with healthcare IT services, improving efficiency and performance. The solution ensured compliance with industry standards and provided scalable, reliable services capable of handling usage peaks.
